Six things we promise
Background-checked mentors
Every adult who works with a young man passes a criminal background check and a reference screening before their first trip — no exceptions.
The two-adult rule
A young man is never alone with a single adult. At least two screened, unrelated adults are present in any activity, in person and in messaging.
Guardian visibility
Parents and guardians are kept in the loop — trip details, who's leading, where they'll be, and how to reach us at any time.
Trained leaders
Leaders are trained in youth protection, wilderness first aid, and our code of conduct, and re-certify on a regular cadence.
Clear reporting
We maintain a simple, well-known way for any young man, parent, or volunteer to raise a concern — and a commitment to act on it.
Right-sized crews
Low adult-to-youth ratios mean every young man is known, watched out for, and never lost in the crowd.
